I have 4 max from the top of the hitch to the bottom of the spare tire33x12.5in on 08 jeep wrangler w/ tow package. Will it work for me thanks.

I am assuming that you are speaking of the Valley Trailer Hitch Ball Mount with 2 Inch Receiver, part # V75090. If this is the case, this product will most likely not work for you. The highest point of the receiver on the ball mount will be approximately 5 inches above the top of the shank. How far out from the rear of your Jeep does the spare tire extend? This ball mount gives 5 inches of clearance from the hitch pin hole to the rear of the top receiver. To determine how much clearance you will need, place a straight piece of lumber such as a 2x4 up against the spare tire, and measure from the hitch pin hole out to the piece of lumber. If this measurement is no more than 5 inches, receiver on the ball mount will clear your spare tire.
