Can a Foam Block Kayak Carrier be Used on a 2010 Toyota Prius with Sunroof

Will a no rack foam block system work on a prius w/sunroof?

Expert Reply:
As long as you are not putting the foam block on the sunroof then you can use # RL100K10 on your 2010 Toyota Prius. You do not want to put any stress on the sunroof because it is not rated to hold weight.
If the sunroof does not allow proper placement of the foam blocks then you will need to add crossbars. The most economical choice to do so is # SR1002. The foam blocks can be used on these crossbars. I have linked a video review of the foam block system for you.
Be sure to consult the vehicle owners manual and/or Toyota for the roof weight carrying capacity before loading.
