Availability of a Bike Cover for a Trailer Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier

Question:

I have looked for a cover to put over expensive road bikes on a Thule hitch mounted carrier. This product looks like it has an opening for the bars from the ladder rack but I assume they are closer together and cut so the bike is in more of an up and down position. Am I correct? Serious cyclists carry there bikes around to events and casual rides a lot - there may be a market for this kind of product.

We offer the Horizontal Style 2 Bike Bag for Trailer Hitch Bike Racks, item # S82005, that you have referenced. This cover will cover 2 bikes in a variety of frame styles. This cover will work on straight arm hitch mounted racks and on wheel mount racks, with the zipper facing up.

This Cover is perfect for the serious cyclist that wants to protect his investment while traveling in a motorhome or with a travel trailer. However, it should not be used behind a car or other vehicle unless the entirety of the bikes and cover is blocked by the back of the vehicle. The covers can become damaged otherwise.
