How easily could the backup camera be repositioned to see a different view behind the vehicle? Is it adjustable so camera could rotate 180 or 360 degrees?

The Camera unit on the Swift Hitch Backup Camera, part # 04928 features a base with a very strong magnet, which would allow you to attach it to the vehicle in any position you wish. Once in place, the camera can be rotated a full 360 degrees. The camera offers a 55 degree field of view.
