Finding Correct Circuit for Brake Stoplight Switch on 2009 Dodge Journey

Question:

My 2009 Journey has a very different configuration on the brake pedal. There is no red wire, but an entire plunger-type module with 4 very thin wires comming out of a harness.I have no idea what to do! Can you help?

You will need to use a circuit tester, such as part # 40376 and probe each of the 4 wires until you find the wire that only goes hot when the brake pedal is applied. Once you locate the correct circuit, tap the red wire from the brake controller into that circuit.
