The Elite Series Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Slider, part # RP30070 will only work with the Reese 18K Elite Series Models.

For the Standard fifth-wheel hitches the Round Tube Fifth Wheel Slider for Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitches by Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese, item # RP50008, is the round tube slider you will need. This is a manual release slider unit used to create clearance in 6 foot bed pickup trucks.

You will need to use the slider when backing the trailer in tight situations or when 90 degree turns are required. The slider is not to be used when towing on the road.
