Question:

i have a 2009 gmc sierra. the frame is a tube type frame in the axle area. will 50061-6008 work? dont see how to bolt to the tube framing without collasping it.

Yes, 5th Wheel mount kit part # 50064-6008 is the right rail kit for your 2009 GMC Sierrra.

The install kit uses many factory holes in the frame and wraps around the frame so as not to damage or collapse the frame.

I have included a video of a 5th Wheel install on a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 that should be of some help in explaining the install process. I have also included a link to the install instructions.
