What Parts are Needed to Tow a 2006 Honda Accord Using RM-502

You can use Roadmaster Towbar part # RM-502 to tow your 2006 Honda Accord. You will need mounting brackets. The brackets that will fit your Accord and this towbar are part # 1545-1. If your Accord is a Hybrid without the CVT Transmission, you will need part # 1545-5.

You will also need a wiring kit and safety cables. I would suggest part # RM-9254-1. It includes everything needed to complete your tow set up including wiring, safety cables and locks. If you just want the wiring and cables then use part # RM-154 and RM-646.

As far as automatic transmission, I suggest contacting your dealer or Honda as they will be able to tell you what precautions to take when towing one of their automatic transmission equipped vehicles.

It is not necessary, but it is safer and easier to use a brake system to manage the Accords brakes such as part # RM-9700 or RM-9400.
