Question:
I installed a wiring harness on a 2001 tacoma and it worked well for about 6 weeks and then began blowing fuses. I have moved the ground to 4 different places including the frame and where you suggested in your video. Any suggestions?

The fuses are blowing because one of the lighting circuits on your trailer is shorting out on the trailer frame. Carefully examine each circuit starting at the trailer connector, looking for any wires that are pinched or broken. Check the insulation on the wires, looking for cracks or worn areas that would allow the copper wire to contact the trailer frame. Even a small nick in the insulation can cause a short circuit if it is located in the right spot. Make sure the connector itself is not damaged or corroded. Check the bulb sockets, if they are corroded they can sometimes cause a short circuit.
