Question:
Hi, I see that the power is drawn from the battery directly. Do you know if there is a battery wire already going to the back of the 2006 Murano, or do I have to route a wire from the battery to the back of the vehicle myself?

Yes, you will need to run a power wire to the rear of the 2005 Nissan Murano. When you hardwire the Plug-N-Tow Short Proof Powered Taillight Converter, item # 36365, into your vehicle taillight system you will need to use a circuit tester, item # 3808 if you need one, to determine which wire on the vehicle powers which function. You will access the wiring behind the vehicle taillights. When wiring is complete it is recommended to use a mounting bracket, item # 18144, to keep the 4-way connector secure. For a no drill bracket installation you can use the no-drill mounting bracket, item # 18140, along with the # 18144 bracket.
