Question:
I installed the Brake Contoller and the wiring kit and everything works. I didnt take it out for long test drive but when I got back I was looking and seen the pulse preventer for when you have emergency light on going up a hill. I didnt think to try those but know I will be going up hill as Im going from Washington State to Nebraska. It is a 2007 FJ Cruiser and for an old man installation went good thanks to your video and help.. Im leaving on Thursday so I dont think I can get one here but if I need it what wire does it go in lne with. The blue one for the brake????

First let me congratulate you on your successful installation! The Pulse Preventer, part # 5501 is only required on vehicles that carry the brake light and turn signal on the same circuit. Since your FJ Cruiser carries the brake and turn signal on different circuits, you do not need a Pulse Preventer. The Pulse Preventer installs inline on the wire which runs from the brake controller to the brake stoplight switch which is the red wire on most brake controllers.
