Hello, I am interested in this particular 4 bikerack. What I would like to know more of is how easy is it to take rack off the hitch, to prevent it from being stolen on your days out. As there is no lock from rack to hitch, I would have to take rack off each time once bikes are off and put it in my car. How easy would it be to take off.

We have locks available that replace the pin used to attach the rack to the hitch. They slide or screw in like the pin, but instead of having a keeper clip, they lock into place with a key. For the bike rack you asked about, # A30704FB, and a 2 inch hitch you would use part # A30901LHP.

To answer your question about removing a rack, it is very easy. You simply remove the pin holding the rack into the hitch, and the rack slips out of the hitch. The rack weighs just about 40 pounds so it is not too heavy either.
