The 12 Volt accessory lead on the 6 or 7-way connector can be used to keep the battery on your trailer charged. Run the accessory lead from the trailer connector to the positive battery terminal on the trailer battery, and ground the negative terminal to the trailer frame. Please read and follow all of the battery manufacturers guidelines regarding battery charging.
