Dimensions of The # E-100 Rv hitch

Must the bumper be drilled to install this hitch or do the bolts go on the outside. Ed

The 2 inch RV Bumper hitch, part # E-100, is designed to fit around a 4 inch square tube bumper so you will not be required to drill into the bumper. I went out to the warehouse and measured the distance from the top of the receiver tube to the bottom of the mounting bolt hole and it is 4 inches. From the top of the receiver mounting tube to the top of the mounting bracket is 5 inches. You will have to measure to be sure that your bumper is 4 inches square and that there is clearance above the bumper for the hitch to mount.
