2009 Nissan Pathfinder Brake Controller Wiring

Question:

I have just purchased a new Pathfinder and was trying to find what I need to install trailer brkes. You dont mention it in your model listing.

If you have a 2009 Nissan Armada without a factory 7-way connector then the Factory Style 7-Way and 4-Way Flat Vehicle End Trailer Connector, item # 30608, will complete the wiring at the rear of your vehicle and provides the relays needed to activate the wiring harness for brake controller and accessory functions.

Along with the wiring and relays you will need a brake controller with a vehicle specific adapter to plug into the port located under the dash of your vehicle. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy Proportional Brake Controller with Nissan Adapter, item # 90185-3050P.
