I apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with your hitch. The bolts that are supposed to come with the Draw-Tite Class III Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 75128, are 12mm x 1.75mm. It sounds like you received the correct bolts. Even if your vehicle has been on the road for only a year, it is very likely there is some dirt grime in the weld nuts on your Liberty. You may want to try cleaning out the weld nuts. I would first recommend soaking the bolt holes on your frame with WD-40. Then take a wire brush, like a the round end of a battery terminal cleaner, and scrub out the holes to free the opening of road debris and grime. This should allow the bolts to fit.
