I am wondering what adapter I use with this hitch to make it into a fifth wheel hitch? I have a 3500 dodge mega cab diesel 4x4.

You can use the Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck Cushioned Trailer Adapter, part # CAB-C5G, to adapt the gooseneck ball on your vehicle to a fifth wheel pin on your trailer. Make sure to find the correct size by backing the vehicle under the trailer and measuring from the top of the ball on the truck to the base of the pin box on the trailer. They are available in 12-inch, 14-inch and 16-inch sizes.

If you have decided to use a fifth wheel all the time, you might consider simply replacing your gooseneck with a fifth wheel hitch.
