What is the towing capacity of a 2007 dodge grand caravan with stow-n-go seating? It has a 3.8L V6 engine. Is there a special cooling system that is needed for this particular vehicle. I have not towing package on the vehicle at this time.

According to the owners manual I viewed online for the 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, if you have the 3.8 liter engine the gross trailer weight capacity at most is 1,800 pounds and 180 pounds tongue weight. This is with 2 people in the van and luggage. With 3 to 5 people and luggage the capacity goes down to 1,350 pounds and 135 pounds tongue weight. And with 6 to 7 people and luggage it goes down to 1,000 pounds gross trailer and 100 pounds tongue weight. I recommend verifying by checking your owners manual.
For your van the most popular hitch is # 87719. Even though the hitch is rated for 3500 pounds, you still have to go by the capacities listed in the owners manual. I have linked a video showing a typical installation and the instructions for you. For trailer wiring use # 118300, instructions and a video linked. I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4 to complete your towing set up.
Adding a transmission cooler is always a good idea since the fluid cannot be over cooled. The most popular cooler for your van is # D13503. I have linked a video showing a typical installation for you.
