The Thule Parkway 4 Bike Rack, part # TH957, will fit 1-1/4 by 1-1/4 inch hitches. If your BMW X3 has a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch, then the Parkway would be an excellent choice. If your BMW has a 2 inch receiver hitch, then you will need a bike rack designed for the 2 by 2 inch receiver.

My hitch application guide shows only a 2 inch receiver option for your vehicle, so I have posted links to a few bike racks that should work with your vehicle if you have a 2 inch receiver. I have also posted a link showing how to measure to be sure of the hitch size before ordering. The option that most closely matches the # TH957 that you selected is the # TH914XT, Thule Roadway 4bike Rack for 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch receivers.

To be sure the bike rack will work with your vehicle, you will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your receiver to a point just past your rear bumper. When selecting a bike rack, make sure that the listed clearance measurement is equal to or longer than the measurement you get on your vehicle.
