I was curious if thesse springs are galvanized steel or some other material

The Trailer Leaf Slipper Spring, part number WIG4, is not galvanized or coated it is a solid steel leaf spring. The leaf springs are shipped with a light coat of paint for rust protection but are not rust proof. Coating or treating the springs would not work because of the flexing and rubbing the springs are subject to under the trailer. The leaf springs can be painted but the paint will not last long with the constant flexing and road debris hitting them. The mounting hardware for the springs is unpainted steel also.
