You should have four wires coming out of the back of your Tekonsha 9030 Voyager Brake Activator, # 39510. They should be white, blue, red, and black. The white wire is the ground wire. The red wire must tap into the cold side of your vehicle brakes. You will need to use a circuit tester like the Quickee # 3808 to find this wire. It will be the wire that carries a signal only when the brake pedal is pressed.

The blue wire is for electric brake controller out put and will run to the trailer connector on the back of your vehicle. If looking at the back of the connector where the wires go, it is the pin in the 7 oclock position. The black wire must run to your battery to power the brake controller via a 20 or 30 amp circuit breaker. See brake controller instructions, linked below, for which size to use.

I have included a link showing the installation of this brake controller and a link to our trailer wiring FAQ article that should help.
