I purchased the wiring kit for a 2006 subaru tribeca 118461. How do I thread the wire through the trunk to run underneath the car to the trailer hitch. I dont want to put it out the hatch. Thank you

The best method would be to pull up the carpet in the rear of the vehicle, looking for an existing hole or knockout. If there is a knockout, remove the center piece and run the wire through. If you cannot find an existing hole, you will have to drill one. Any time you run electrical wiring through the car body, you will want to use a grommet to prevent the wire from rubbing against the opening and eventually shorting out. You will also want to use silicone sealant to seal up the hole around the wire to prevent exhaust from entering the passenger compartment.
