What is the total weight of the carrier?. I plan on using it on a 2009 Wrangler and will be taking it on and off frequently

The shipping weight for the 23x56 Railed Cargo Carrier, part number 59502, is 74 pounds. You could take off a couple pounds for the shipping carton but that would still be 72 pounds or so. If light weight is your concern for frequent removal and installation you may want to check out our 22x56 Polypropylene Cargo Carrier, part number 59500, which only weighs 35 pounds and has a weight capacity of 400 pounds.
