Location of Under Dash Connector for Installing T-1 Harness on a 2009 Honda Element

Question:

I ordered this connector on order 836642, the rear 4 pole connector worked fine.The under the dash connector wrapped in blue tape on my 2009 Honda Element is green and is wider and flatter than the connector in the kit. I did not see any other connector that looked like it would work. Help please. The hitch installed fine.

You are having a common difficulty with this wiring harness. You have found the wrong connector. There is another connector which is also wrapped in blue tape several inches to the left of the access panel opening. You will have to reach in and look further to the left.
