Can the universal kit and rails be purchased separately?

Yes, You can purchase the Draw-Tite, Reese and Hidden Hitch Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit Rails (Rails Only), part number 6008, separately. The Installation Hardware for Fifth Wheel Rails, part number 6007, includes all brackets and hardware necessary to install fifth wheel rails into the bed without the rails. If you are moving your Draw-Tite or Reese fifth wheel rails from one truck to another and your rails and mounting brackets are still good, but the hardware is not you can order the hardware without the brackets also. The Replacement Hardware Kit for Draw-Tite and Reese part number is 58164. The most economical way to purchase the complete installation kit is to get the Universal Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit with Rails, part number 6005. The easiest way to install a Fifth Wheel Hitch is to use a custom install kit.
