The Draw-Tite 2-4 Brake Electronic Brake Controller, part number 5100, is only engineered to be able to handle up to 4 brake trailers, two axles with brakes.

We do carry several brake controllers that will handle 3 or more axle trailers. You may want to consider a proportional brake controller for towing the larger trailers, like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. The proportional controllers apply the same amount of stopping power to the trailer as the towing vehicle applies by using a pendulum style sensor to brake harder when the vehicle is braking harder. The proportional controllers use the same wiring for installation as the time delayed controllers so switching out the controller will be easy.
