Will the Folding Polypropylene Carrier Fit the Jeep Wrangler 2006 and fold With the Spare in Place
Question:
First will this rack fit on a jeep wrangler. It has a 2 receiver, the only other question is will the fold up one work with the rear spare tire in place? Thanks in advance.

Expert Reply:
Yes, the 22x56 Folding Polypropylene Cargo Carrier will fit in your 2 inch receiver hitch. You will have to measure to determine if the carrier will fit when folded with the spare tire in place. If you measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the point where the spare tire sticks out the farthest you will have the measurement needed to determine if the carrier will work with the spare in place. On this carrier the distance to the folded carrier tray from the center of the hitch pin hole is 6-3/4 inches. We carry one other cargo carrier that folds and has a longer hitch pin hole distance when it is folded and that is the, 6502, 20x48 Folding Cargo Carrier and the measurement for this carrier is 7-1/2 inches when folded.
