Winch Mount Plate Comparison for Front Mount Receiver Mounting Plate

Question:

What is the differance between the curt c-31004 and 6495? How thick is the material of both? Thank you.

The plate on the part # C31010 winch mount plate is 1/4 inch thick. This mount has 2 sets of four (eight) mounting holes centered on the cable opening which are 10 by 4-1/2 inches on center and 6-1/2 by 4-1/2 inches on center. This mount is all welded and ready to use right out of the box.

The plate on the part # 6495 is 1/4 inch thick and has the same mounting hole pattern as the C31010. This receiver mount is all welded and has a solid steel drawbar as opposed to the others that have a 1/4 inch thick square tube draw bar. This mount is the heaviest built and is much heavier than the other mounts if that is a consideration.

The plate on the part # SW2050 that the winch mounts to is 1/4 inch thick. This mount has 2 sets of four (eight) holes, centered on the cable opening, in a rectangular pattern for mounting the winch to the plate and the measurements are 4-1/2 by 4 inches on center and 10 by 4-1/2 inches on center.
