The MaxxAir White Trailer Roof Vent Cover, item # 64643, uses a bracket that will screw into the side of the existing vent, and then the MaxxAir cover mounts to the bracket. They are designed to mount over an existing vent. It fits over a vent that has a crank handle, with the back shorter side on the hinging side of the vent. This way, the vent will block rain from entering the vent when driving while the vent is open.
