How do You Insert the Wires Into the Back of the Lights on the 6504 Cargo Carrier Light Kit

You plug the corresponding wires on the 6504 Draw-Tite Cargo Carrier Light Kit into the upper (larger) holes on the back of the taillights. There are two holes for tail/brake lights and running lights. These holes are labeled. The wires should be stripped 3/8 to 1/2 inch prior to insertion. The lower (smaller) set of holes are there to allow removal of the wires if need be. You would stick a small round object, such as a paper clip, into the lower hole and press, releasing the wire. After inserting the wires they should be routed along the indention in the light housing when mounted to avoid crushing the wires.
