Trailer wiring harness for 2008 Sprinter Van

Is this product a quick connect into my wiring harness, do I need anything else to complete the job, and where does it plug into,, location?

Sorry, but this will not work for your vehicle. Adapter 30608 is for Nissan vehicles only. Since your 2008 Dodge Sprinter Van did not come with a wiring tow package, I am assuming you have hardwired in a 4-pole plug. If you have not, let me suggest part 119176 or 119176KIT (the latter being a hardwire kit which is the harness plus the quick splices and circuit tester). This wiring gives you a 4-pole flat plug for basic turn signals and brake lights.

For the 7-pole trailer connector on the back of your vehicle, I suggest the ETBC7. This is a kit that has everything you need to turn that 4-pole plug into a 7-way, including wiring to run to the front of your vehicle for a brake controller. The plug also has the 4-pole plug on it, just in case you are needing a connection for a small trailer or lights for a cargo carrier.

We also have a great selection of brake controllers. I suggest the Prodigy, part 90185, because it is easy to install and self-leveling, and offers a smooth stop. I have included links below to all the products I mentioned. In addition, we have videos on each page that will walk you through the installation. The vehicles these products are installed on are a bit different from your vehicle, but the installation process is very similar.
