Circuit protection for a 2009 Nissan Murano and Factory Warranty

Question:

I am trying to decide between this part or the Nissan accessory sold by Nissan parts. There is a substantial price difference between the two and therefore I am leaning toward the one you sell but I dont want to risk damaging my vehicle electronics by using a 3rd party add-on. How safe is this and will I void my manufacturers warranty if I use your product and something goes wrong?

The 118481, T-One Connector with Upgraded Circuit Protected ModuLite is a circuit protection system that will protect your vehicle and the converter from electrical shorts or trailers that are wired incorrectly. Installation is when you need to be careful, make all the connections properly and have the negative battery cable disconnected so that you do not short a circuit in the vehicle. Once installation is complete your vehicle is protected and safe.

I have not heard of any problems with factory warranty but you should contact your dealer and check to be sure that there will not be any issues if the wiring harness is installed. We have sold many of these wiring harnesses with no issues. The instructions are clear and if you read through them before installation you will have no problem wiring your vehicle and will be ready to tow in no time.
