Do the Magnaflow Exhaust Tips Make the Loud Sound On The Exhaust System

The Magnaflow exhaust tips themselves do not make the noise, however they are great for adding the look of an upgraded exhaust system without actually buying the whole system. It is the muffler that actually makes the noise due to baffles inside that direct the emissions to give that loud sound.

I have included a link to an installation of the entire exhaust system, and you can see underneath the vehicle what produces the sound. The video link will also let you hear the difference in the exhaust sound from the factory exhaust and the Magnaflow exhaust.

There are exhaust tips that do make that loud vibrating type of noise that is popular with younger generations. They are called resonators. We have several sizes of these depending on the tail pipe diameter of your exhaust. I have incldued a link to the exhaust tips main page for you.
