I bought these lights and they came with a black square looking thing covering the bulb inside the lens. what are the black things and should I take them out.

Expert Reply:
I spoke with my contact at the manufacturer and found that the black square pieces inside the Navigator Cyber White Fog Lights are reflectors that reflect the light back on the mirror inside the light and direct the light down so the fog light to illuminates the road and is not a nuisance to oncoming drivers. You should not take these reflectors out of the lights.
