Question:
I need to know how to wire in my draw tite controller to my 07 gmc sierra. new body style using the wiring harness supplied by gm under the dash. I bought a drawtite activator II controller from you awhile back and am just now getting around to installing it.

The GM brake controller wiring harness could potentially have red, light blue, black, dark blue, and brown wires. You would connect the wires to a brake controller as follows:
GM red to brake controller black for 12 volt power
GM light blue to brake controller red for input from the stoplight switch
GM black to brake controller white for ground
GM dark blue to brake controller blue for output to trailer brakes
GM brown is not used
If you have the wire bundle under the dash and not a plug type of connector then follow the FAQ article I have included. There may also be some connections that you will need to make under the hood. The FAQ covers this connections as well.
