Choosing the Correct Ball Mount

Question:

I have 21 foot Ski Boat with a dual Axle trailer. I tow it with a 4x4 Navigator. When towing, should my trailer be level with the ground or should the front be slightly pointed towards the ground. Right now, it points a little upward. I think I need to lower my ball.

The best practice is to have the trailer as close to level as possible. If your trailer is only pointing upward by an inch or so, you will be fine. If you are talking about more than 1-1/2 inches, you might want to consider a ballmount with more rise or drop to get the trailer closer to being level.
We have a helpful FAQ page that illustrates how to determine how to determine the required rise or drop on your ballmount. I will include a link below.
