Question:
can I splice the green wire going to right side tail light and make it about 8 inches longer? didnt know if it would be o.k. to customize it or not? I did get it on but couldnt put the wire in the tail back in its clip and also had to put the convertor at the bottom of the tail light housing? almost to the hole in the bottom. If I could add some wire to the green I could go back in and finish things like they should be?... Thank you for your time..

You can certainly add some wire to increase the length for the feed to the passenger side tail light. Simply use a length of 14 gauge wire and some butt connectors to make the wire the desired length.
Make sure to use some electrical tape or heat shrink tubing on your connections to keep moisture out of the connections, and be sure to keep the wire as far away as possible from the exhaust system to avoid damaging the wires.
