Brake Adapter for 2009 Tacoma without Tow Package

Question:

This part says it only works with Tacoma up to 07 only with the tow package, but my 2009 Tacoma has no tow package but it still has the connection for the brake control. So Im wondering if this will still work with my truck?

If your truck came off the line with a factory 7-way plug, you have an electrical tow package. This means you are set up for a brake controller. However, it sounds like the hitch wasn't included. Since you have a plug under the dash, your wiring is there and this adapter will work for you with our Tekonsha brake controller.
