Question:
Will the part # 2250 fit on a 2003 GMC 1500 truck? What modifications if any?

Expert Reply:
For your 2003 GMC Sierra 1500, the correct Firestone Air Helper Springs would be part # F2320. In order for the springs to fit your truck, the minimum allowable distance between the inside of the tire and the outside of the frame member is 6 inches. Other than drilling mounting holes in the frame members, not modifications are required. You can look at the installation instructions I have linked you to for more information.
The # F2250 you referenced will fit the 2500 and 3500 series only, and would not fit your 1/2 ton truck. I have confirmed this with Firestone.
