1968 chevy C50 truck has a 6 round trailer connecter . blk-12 v power, wht-12v neg blue- elect. brakes for trailer Red-down side of brake light switch. I have 2 wires on the switch a red and a white . which wire do I hook the red wire from the controler to

The best way to determine which wire would be the correct one for the brake light circuit of your brake controller would be to use a circuit tester like our part # 3808 and test both wires to determine which one has 12 volts when the brakes are applied and no voltage when the brakes are not being applied.
