Question:
Will all the features work with the factory plug on a 2006 GMC Envoy?

Provided that the 7-Way on your 2006 GMC Envoy is fully functional, then all of the pins on the Hopkins adapter, # HM47675, will work.
On the harness, the pin for using this unit with a 5-Way flat requires that the reverse light circuit on the 7-Way is attached and functions. This is the center pin on a 7-Way. If it is not working on the Envoy, you will need to run a wire from the back center pin on the 7-Way to a reverse light and tap into the wire there.
The 12 volt power socket on the 7-Way requires the 12 volt circuit on the 7-Way be active. This is the pin in the 1:00 position if looking at the face of the 7-Way. Sometimes on GM vehicles, this circuit is not activated until you make some connections under the hood. I have included a link to an FAQ that will tell you where and how to make the under hood connections should you need to.
You can test the 7-Way on the Envoy using a circuit tester like # 3808 if needed. The other circuits on the adapter should work fine. They are just for the brake lights, turn signals, and running lights on a trailer.
