I do have a roof rack that will fit your 2009 Ford Ranger, but it is not the SportRack Frontier Roof Rack, part # A21005S, that you have referenced.
For your Ford Ranger I would recommend the Yakima Roof Rack System. You will need a set of Yakima Q Towers, part # Y00124, and two sets of Yakima Q25 Q Clips, part # Y00625, along with a set of Yakima CrossBars, part # Y00409. This roof rack will clamp to the integral rain gutter on the roof of your vehicle.
I am including a link to an installation video that will show the Yakima roof rack being installed on a Chevrolet Colorado. The vehicle is different, but the installation will be similar.
