Yes, you could use the Hopkins Rear View Camera with Backup Sensors, # HM60195VA, on the front of a vehicle. Normally you would wire this unit into the reverse lights. For the front of the vehicle I imagine that set up will not work for you. In this case you would need to tap into the running light circuit. This will power on the unit when you turn on the headlights.
You can angle the camera up and down to get it to the right view for your needs.
