Speed Rating for a Kenda 215/60-8 Bias Trailer Tire on a Trailer Carrying a Harley Davidson

Question:

How fast can i pull a trailer with a harley total # 1150 pounds ?

asked by: Bob

Expert Reply:

You will want to stay within the limits of the posted speed limit for sure but if you are using our tires they are rated for 65 miles per hour maximum unless otherwise stated on the tire itself. So, on the highway you can go as fast as you are comfortable traveling up to 65 miles per hour. I have included a link to our trailer tire FAQ article for you to view.

Other things to consider are the increased weight and momentum associated with towing. If the trailer has electric brakes I recommend adding a brake controller.
