Can a Reese Sway Control Be Used on the Left Side of a Trailer

Question:

Just purchased a new truck and a travel trailer.. The tongue weight is 770lbs and the GTW is 10930lbs. I bought the Pro Series with sway control with ratings of 1000lbs TW and 10000 lbsGTW. These limits for GTW will never be approached. My question is I want to install a sway control for the left side. Seems I cant find a sway control for the left side. Im wondering if I can use one for the right side and just turn it upside down..Is that possible????????Thanks The truck is a 2012 F150 with 8000lbs TW and 13500 GCVW.......

The Reese Friction Sway Control # RP26660 like what you referenced can be used either on the right or left side of a trailer. To switch sides you will need to remove the slide bar and then reinstall it upside down.

Check out the installation instructions for this product that I attached. I also attached a link to a very similar question where there is a video on how to do exactly what you want to do.
