where can I find the power to hook up the third brake light on my snug top?

The 2012 Nissan NV should have a third brake light at the top rear of the vehicle. You should be able to tie into that circuit. Another option is to check the vehicle owners manual for the fuse location for the Center High Mount Stop Light (CHMSL). You could then use a fuse tap, like # F2526, and wire it in there.
