If the Pin Box on the fifth wheel is a Lippert 1621 or 1716, and this is the only truck you will use to pull the fifth wheel, the Reese Goosebox is a great solution. It will permanently replace your existing Lippert 1621 or 1716 pin box. For the Lippert 1621, use part # RP94622 or for the Lippert 1716, use part # RP94622-61301.
If you wish to leave your existing pin box in place, the Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection, part # AM3225 is an innovative solution. The system is relatively light-weight, and would allow you to leave your existing pin box in place. Unlike other adapters, it does not need to be permanently attached to the pin box.
We have a FAQ about gooseneck adapters that you might find helpful, click the provided link. I have also linked you to a product demonstration video and install details for the Reese Goosebox.
