Will the Thule Gateway 3 Bike Carrier fit a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen?

Yes, the Thule Gateway 3 Bike Rack, # TH9007XT, will fit on your 2012 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen. This bike rack has 6 straps that will attach to the top, side and bottom edges of your rear hatch. Please note that the rear wiper cannot be used when this bike rack is mounted.

If you plan on carrying any womens, childrens or alternative bike frames, then I would recommend picking up the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT. Some small and angled bike frames can be difficult to load on a bike rack and this adapter will allow you to mount the bikes easily and safely.
