We typically recommend using the largest available cooler that would fit into your available space. You cannot over-cool a transmission, although it might take a bit longer to warm the engine when its very cold outside.
The # D13504 would be a great choice for you. I would recommend leaving the OEM transmission cooler in place.
You would mount the aftermarket cooler directly behind the grille, and tap into the return line leading back to the transmission. Your OEM transmission cooler would most likely have metal supply and return lines. You would need to determine the diameter of the lines in order to get the correct compression fittings to tap the aftermarket cooler into the transmission return line. I will provide you a link to our selection of compression fittings.
I have also linked you to our FAQ articles about transmission coolers.
