Comparing Rhino Rack RLT and RLCP Roof Rack Leg Kits

Question:

Just wanted to know the difference between RLTF and RLCP legs other than one has one bolt vs two bolts. Is one style of legs Stronger/stable or can handle more loa

Expert Reply:

The difference between RLT and RLCP Rhino Rack legs is how they mount. The RLT feet, like # RLT500, fit in special Rhino Rack tracks and are held in place with barrel nuts.

The RLCP legs are designed to fit fixed points or factory tracks on vehicle roofs though they can fit in Rhino Rack tracks.

Normally the RLT bars are associated with the more heavy duty square Rhino rack bars and the RLT feet are associated with the Aero bars they each foot style could support both bars styles. The weight capacity is determined by the bars and/or vehicle but not the feet.
